In this course, we created a custom leather tool roll to be used for various tools! We had tool rolls for book binding tools, crochet hooks, knitting needles, and knives. My sample patter is made for pens and I am building a new roll for paint brushes. The students learned how to create a custom pattern, cut out materials, tool leather, dye leather, sew with an industrial sewing machine, hand sew leather, and finish the edges. Students gained a full understanding of leatherworking tools and techniques.
